Same Old Stuff Different Day. In the confines of COVID-19 and the Stay Home guidance, we have fallen into the Groundhog Day Paradox. Yes today in a new date, however, the day is like the one yesterday or the day before that!
We continue to look for something new that may make today different. We entertain ourselves with cooking, baking bread, or sharing recipes. Maybe binge-watching a TV series we missed or dumping a boxed jigsaw puzzle on the table. We may clean house, talk to spouses, and ponder our escape plan once the All Clear is given! We are consumed with the second and third effects of our world, worried about jobs, money, and food.
Our lives are forever changed because of the virus, yet the natural world continues to prosper and heal itself. Confined to walk our backyard almost daily, I've developed a pattern of exploring our backyard for something different than yesterday, something new, whether its a color or a critter and photograph it.
This post is the result of yesterday and here's to tomorrow!
